DTW Challenge
In 2005 NBP approached DTW and asked if we could develop and produce some mechanical components for their Bio-digester Support Programme (BSP) in Cambodia. The components needed to be low-cost, easily manufactured using basic tooling and skills, and were required to meet international standards.

SNV -  (the Netherlands Development Organization) is a INGO that provides advisory services regarding institutional development and technology for biogas sector development.
Results
For the burner, tap and trap we copied a sample brought from Nepal. For the stoves we were asked to develop several prototypes. We have since been producing bio-digester appliance sets which include -

• Biogas Burner
• Gas Tap
• Water Trap
• Basic or Luxury stove
