DTW Challenge
Working closely with our partners within the rehabilitation sector, DTW developed a low-cost but highly effective device that can help minimize and cure the problem – a corrective “booty.” Using the treatment protocols of the “Ponseti Method,” the patient is placed in the correct fitting booty which acts as a splint for up to one year.

Status
DTW has been manufacturing the booties in a range of sizes. The booties are being supplied to all rehabilitation centres within Cambodia and are now being made available regionally.
As a non-profit organization, we at DTW strive to work with partners whose goal is to keep costs low so that more people can benefit from access to our products. With this in mind DTW provided a comprehensive production training package (free of charge) to Vietnam Veterans International so that this organisation could itself produce the booties in Cambodia as well as other countries in which it operates.
