The original GEF specification was for a clearance depth of 50mm.  However, DTW has now designed the GEF so clear down to 100-150mm into the soil.  The Tempest can clear even deeper if its forward speed is reduced.

VEGETATION CLEARANCE

Light vegetation, 750mm high grass, sparse bushes.	1200 – 1600 m2/h.
Medium vegetation, 1 meter high grass, 2 meter high mid density bushes.	800 – 1200 m2/h.
Heavy vegetation, 1-2 meter high grass, 2-3 meter high density bush and occasional 4-5 meter tall trees.	400 – 800 m2/h
