DTW Challenge
Design a small towed grader that can be used in labour- intensive road maintenance operations in Cambodia and other developing countries. Construct and test a prototype, supply three sample machines, and evaluate their functionality and robustness.

Result

DTW designed and manufactured the Cam-Grader as a low-cost road grader to be towed by a tractor.   It has no mechanical gearing nor hydraulics.  It is capable of being easily repaired and can be manufactured at low-cost by any reasonably equipped workshop.

In addition to its simplicity, another remarkable feature of the Cam-Grader is its use of recycled parts.  These include its wheels, a car mechanism arrangement for lowering the blade, and a standard car disc brake assembly used for holding the blade in operational position.
